Law360, New York (April 20, 2012, 1:10 PM ET) -- The home delivery unit of frozen food giant The Schwan Food Co. was slapped with a class action in California on Wednesday claiming it placed automated calls to consumers' cellphones without their permission.
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act suit was brought against Schwan's Home Service Inc. by California resident Erik Knutson on behalf of a nationwide class he estimates to be in the tens of thousands.
