Law360, Los Angeles (July 13, 2012, 7:37 PM ET) -- A California judge on Friday delayed the first scheduled bellwether trial in consolidated state court litigation over unintended acceleration in Toyota Motor Corp. vehicles, a move that could hasten the start of a similar lawsuit Toyota has tried unsuccessfully to shift to federal court.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Anthony J. Mohr on Friday granted a motion to change the trial date of the lawsuit brought by plaintiff Yasuharu Uno, moving the jury trial from Nov. 1, 2012, to April 15, 2013.
