Sporting Goods Co. Fights Insurers To Defend ZIP Code Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (August 10, 2012, 8:55 PM ET) -- Big 5 Sporting Goods Corp. urged a California federal judge Friday to require Zurich American Insurance Co. and Hartford Fire Insurance Co. to pay for its defense in consumer class actions in state courts accusing the retail chain of illegally collecting customer ZIP codes.
