Law360, New York (April 29, 2016, 11:14 AM EDT) -- On April 14, 2016, proposed amendments to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23 passed a major hurdle on the way to possible adoption when the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules voted unanimously to forward the changes to the Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure and recommend that they be published for public comment. Before voting to approve the amendment package, the advisory committee made some changes to proposals drafted by its Rule 23 subcommittee, which had been published in the agenda book in advance of the meeting....
