Shire, Teva Settle Contract Spat Over Adderall Supplies

Law360, New York (December 02, 2009, 2:11 PM ET) -- Shire PLC said on Wednesday that it had reached a settlement with Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., which had accused the British drug manufacturer of breaching a contract to supply the generics maker with supplies of Adderall XR.

Under the terms of the settlement, “no consideration was exchanged,” Shire said in a statement.

In its suit Teva claimed that Shire had breached a contract between the two companies requiring Shire to provide Teva with an authorized generic version of Adderall, a blockbuster drug used to treat attention...
