AEG Slips Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Suit

Law360, New York (February 21, 2012, 10:21 PM ET) -- Concert promoter AEG Live LLC on Tuesday escaped a wrongful death suit brought by the father of the late pop star Michael Jackson, after a California state judge found Joseph Jackson's claims were mirrored in an ongoing suit filed by his wife. 

The pop star died of a drug overdose in June 2009 as he was preparing for “This Is It,” a concert series promoted by AEG Live.
