Law360, New York (July 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Gama Machinery USA Inc. has accused rival Graco Inc. of abusing its monopoly position in the market for in-plant polyurethane processing equipment, rebuffing a lawsuit Graco filed earlier this year against Gama over alleged theft of trade secrets.
In counterclaims filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Gama says that from 2004 to 2007 Graco systematically acquired other companies in order to obtain and abuse a monopoly in the IPPE market.
