Judge Tosses NJ Title Antitrust Suit, For Now

Law360, New York (October 05, 2009, 7:47 PM ET) -- A New Jersey court has tossed out an antitrust action that accused more than a dozen major title insurers of conspiring with a New Jersey rating bureau to fix prices, though it left the door slightly ajar for the plaintiffs to continue pursuing their case.

U.S. District Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr. dismissed the complaint without prejudice Monday, giving the plaintiffs — holders of title insurance policies — another shot to amend their complaint.
