J&J, Omnicare Hit With Class Action Over Kickbacks

Law360, New York (April 07, 2010, 6:08 PM ET) -- The families of deceased nursing home residents who claim they were victimized by the alleged kickback scheme between Johnson & Johnson and Omnicare Inc. have filed an antitrust class action against the two companies.

The complaint, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that nursing home residents around the country were forced to pay millions of dollars extra for the Johnson & Johnson drugs Floxin, Levaquin, Risperdal, Ultram, Duragesic and Procrit as a result of the alleged scheme....
