Law360, New York (March 16, 2011, 8:06 PM ET) -- A California judge on Wednesday allowed Dell Inc.'s federal antitrust claims to survive in multidistrict litigation alleging Hitachi Ltd., Toshiba Corp. and other technology companies conspired to artificially inflate prices of thin film transistor liquid crystal display panels.
Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California also allowed Dell's breach of contract claims to move forward, but dismissed its state antitrust and unjust enrichment claims against Hitachi, Toshiba, Epson Imaging Devices Corp. and Sharp Corp.
