Law360, New York (October 16, 2012, 12:53 PM ET) -- The Federal Trade Commission on Monday cleared Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s proposed €4.25 billion ($5.5 billion) purchase of Actavis Inc. after the generics maker agreed to divest 18 of its drugs to competitors to allay antitrust concerns.
