Italian Utilities Targets Stogit Over Gas Storage

Law360, New York (November 13, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Italian Utilities, a group of Italian energy providers, reportedly has accused Eni SpA subsidiary Stogit SpA, which provides natural gas storage in the country, of abusing its hold on the market.

The organization said Thursday it had filed an antitrust complaint against Stogit, which controls about 98 percent of the country's natural gas storage, Reuters reported Friday.
