Universal Music Moves To Toss Reggae Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (April 24, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Universal Music Group Inc. has moved to dismiss an antitrust case brought against it by a smaller rival that claims the music label exploited its heft to dominate the reggae market.

UMG asked the court to dismiss some claims in an antitrust suit launched over a Bob Marley album in a motion filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
