6th Circ. U-Turns On 3rd-Party Retaliation Claims

Law360, New York (June 09, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Reversing its earlier position, a federal appeals court has ruled that people cannot bring Title VII claims for retaliation unless they have engaged in protected activity, denying relief for a man who claimed he was fired from North American Stainless LP because his fiancee complained of discrimination.
