Law360, New York (September 27, 2010, 2:19 PM ET) -- Sens. Bob Casey, D-Pa., and Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, are sponsoring legislation aiming to make it easier for employers and their employees to request more flexible work hours, schedules and locations to accommodate families.
The Working Families Flexibility Act, S. 3840, was introduced in the Senate on Friday.
The bill, long championed by the late Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy would acknowledge the realities of the modern work force by giving employees the “right to request” more options in terms of work hours, schedules and locations.
