Law360, New York (September 23, 2011, 10:23 PM ET) -- A North Carolina federal judge granted class certification and collective action certification on Friday to workers at Smithfield Packing Co. Inc. bacon processing plants who claim they weren’t paid for required activities performed before and after their shifts.
