Law360, New York (August 01, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Call center workers that filed a wage-and-hour suit against Qwest Communications International Inc. have been granted conditional class certification.
The lawsuit was filed on Aug. 30, 2006 on behalf of anyone who worked at a Qwest call center in Minnesota as a call center sales consultant or sales and service consultant within the last three years. In April, it was amended to include Qwest workers nationwide--potentially up to 8,000 workers.
