Proposed Class Sues AXA For Labor Practices

Law360, New York (August 27, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A former financial services professional has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co. alleging it violated fair labor standards by not paying overtime and meal compensation.

The suit, which was filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accuses the unit, as well as AXA Advisors LLC and AXA Financial Services LLP of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.
