Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 6:14 PM ET) -- On April 26, 2012, Judge Paul C. Johnson Jr., associate chief judge, U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Administrative Law Judges (ALJ), granted summary decision in favor of the Board of Education of Prince George’s County (the board), ending a five-year battle between the board and complainant Makarand Bidwai over whether the board properly refused to renew his teaching contract beyond the close of the 2006-2007 school year. Bidwai v. Board of Education of Prince George’s County, 2011-LCA-00029 (ALJ Apr. 26, 2012).
