Law360, New York (May 18, 2012, 7:47 PM ET) -- Already facing federal scrutiny over its hiring of undocumented workers, Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. disclosed Friday that it had been hit with a subpoena from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for information on its hiring practices.
Chipotle said in a regulatory filing that it had received the subpoena on Thursday seeking “information regarding our compliance with employee work authorization requirements, our related public statements and other disclosures, and related information.”
“We intend to fully cooperate with the SEC in its investigation,” the Denver-based company said....
