Elliott Greenleaf, Stevens & Lee Settle Hacking Suit

Law360, Philadelphia (August 17, 2012, 3:58 PM ET) -- Law firm Elliott Greenleaf reached a settlement with its former managing shareholder and Stevens & Lee PC in a lawsuit alleging that the attorney hacked into his former employer's computer network to steal trade secrets before departing, according to an order filed Thursday in Pennsylvania federal court.

The settlement follows a daylong settlement hearing between the parties on Aug. 1 mandated by U.S. District Judge Timothy Savage, whose Thursday order dismissed the case with prejudice. The details of the settlement are confidential, according to a spokeswoman...
