Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 5:35 PM ET) -- Sens. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and John Kerry, D-Mass., reportedly will introduce new, more stringent climate change legislation in the U.S. Senate on Wednesday.
Based in large part on the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives in June, the bill will include a cap-and-trade system with even tougher targets for reduced greenhouse gas emissions than its predecessor, Kerry and Boxer told the New York Times.
