Utility, Comverge Drop Suit Over $301M Grid Work

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 3:45 PM ET) -- Las Vegas utility NV Energy Inc. and Comverge Inc., a company that helps power grids manage peak energy use, on Friday voluntarily dropped a dispute over work Comverge said it performed in an effort to win a contract for the utility's $301 million smart grid project.

U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro signed off on the joint dismissal, which ends a two-year battle over $1.2 million Comverge billed to NV Energy after it did not win a contract to install about 10,000 digital meters to help customers...
