Law360, New York (July 25, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Austrian Airlines AG said Tuesday that it had joined a legal complaint against state-owned oil and gas company OMV AG, which allegedly overcharged it by €36 million for jet fuel.
The complaint, originally filed June 12 by the Austrian Federal Competition Authority, accused OMV of misusing its dominant market position by charging excessive fees to airlines at the Vienna Airport. Austrian Airlines said it joined the lawsuit after OMV rejected its many attempts at reaching a compromise.
