Law360, New York (July 24, 2012, 9:08 PM ET) -- The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority will increase the cash incentives and expand compliance options for owners and developers of multifamily buildings seeking to reduce energy waste, the agency announced Tuesday.
Multifamily housing including condominiums and co-ops that meet certain criteria — such as affordable housing buildings that burn only natural gas for their primary space heating and buildings that exceed energy savings expectations — can look forward to bigger bonuses, NYSERDA said.
