Law360, New York (September 24, 2012, 6:01 PM ET) -- Federal regulators said Monday they would begin an environmental review of a Dominion Resources Services Inc. proposal to build a liquefied natural gas facility in Maryland that the Sierra Club argues is illegal under a decades-old settlement.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said it would prepare an environmental assessment for Dominion’s Cove Point Liquefaction Project, an expansion to a Chesapeake Bay natural gas terminal that would allow the company to compress gas for sale overseas.
