Anadarko Contests $14.1B Judgment In Tronox Bankruptcy

Law360, Los Angeles (January 14, 2014, 6:25 PM ET) -- Anadarko Petroleum Co. on Monday disputed a New York bankruptcy judge's order that it pay up to $14.1 billion over claims that Anadarko-owned Kerr-McGee Corp. saddled ex-subsidiary Tronox Inc. with environmental liabilities before spinning it off, arguing it owes no more than $1.76 billion.
