Law360, New York (July 15, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed set of rules governing an emerging technology for underground storage of carbon dioxide from coal power plants.
The proposal, unveiled Tuesday, aims to make sure that using the process known as geologic sequestration to store carbon dioxide does not contaminate drinking water.
