2nd Circ. Puts DuPont, Olin On Hook For Superfund Cleanup

Law360, New York (December 19, 2011, 5:36 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit on Monday reversed a lower court’s ruling and found chemical manufacturing giants DuPont Co. and Olin Corp. liable for ongoing cleanup costs imposed on Solvent Chemical Co. Inc. over a contaminated Superfund site in Niagara, N.Y.
