Law360, New York (July 18, 2012, 8:15 PM ET) -- Nebraska’s environmental regulator called on TransCanada Corp. to turn over a host of potentially sensitive information on its rerouting of the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline, including oil spill risk assessments and data on chemicals that could contaminate water supplies.
In a feedback report, the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality said the company needed to address a range of concerns raised by the public and the agency itself before it would submit a final evaluation of the project to Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman.
