GAO Nixes Addx Protest Over $29M Navy Tech Contract

Law360, New York (May 06, 2011, 3:48 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Wednesday rejected Addx Corp.'s protest over a $29 million U.S. Navy information technology task order awarded to MYMIC LLC, ruling that Addx should have known about restrictions on subcontractor use.

GAO general counsel Lynn Gibson supported the Naval Surface Warfare Center's decision to reject Addx's proposal to provide for information technology, modeling and simulation services, finding the Alexandria, Va.-based company plan relied too heavily on subcontractors.
