Schering Faces Class Action Over Alleged Kickbacks

Law360, New York (May 14, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Less than a year after Schering-Plough Corp. agreed to pay $435 million to settle Medicaid fraud and improper marketing charges, the drug maker is facing a new class action alleging it engaged in an illegal kickback scheme to market a slew of its prescription medications, causing consumers to overpay “hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars.”
