Law360, New York (May 18, 2012, 8:56 PM ET) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday approved the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act without amendments that would have limited contractor executive pay and restricted the definition of "commercial items" available for streamlined government purchases.
The bill, which passed 299-102, included amendments that continue support for indefinite detention of terrorism suspects and defuse the threat of sequestration, and a series of automatic cuts to defense spending that would take place in the absence of a deficit reduction deal.
