GAO Snuffs Challenge To $36M Navy Engineering Contract

Law360, New York (September 06, 2012, 7:11 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has shot down XtremeConcepts Systems' challenge to the Department of the Navy's award of a $36 million contract for mission-related engineering support, according to a decision released Wednesday.

The GAO said Xtreme provided no support in its May 17 challenge that it was inadequately evaluated for a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order calling for engineering support for the development of test capabilities associated with net-centric testing of joint mission areas, which the Navy awarded earlier that month to GBL Systems Corp.
