SAIC Loses Bid Protest Over $5B Pentagon IT Contract

Law360, New York (October 04, 2012, 9:58 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Monday shot down SAIC Inc.'s bid protest over the company's loss of a Defense Information Systems Agency contract worth up to $4.6 billion, leaving Lockheed Martin Corp. in place to transform the U.S. Department of Defense's global information grid.

The GAO announced the decision without commenting on the matter.
