More Plaintiffs Tossed From ReNu Lens Solution MDL

Law360, New York (April 28, 2010, 5:23 PM ET) -- Two putative class actions brought by Puerto Rican plaintiffs have been tossed from multidistrict litigation alleging Bausch & Lomb Inc.'s ReNu MoistureLoc contact lens solution caused eye infections.

Judge David C. Norton of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina on Monday granted summary judgment to Bausch & Lomb in the two suits, ruling that the plaintiffs could not prove that ReNu had caused their eye infections.
