Law360, New York (June 09, 2010, 12:19 PM ET) -- Health care information technology specialist Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions Inc. has inked a $1.3 billion all-stock deal to acquire Eclipsys Corp., a tie-up that would create a powerhouse in the sector.
Under the terms of the deal, Eclipsys stockholders will receive 1.2 shares of Allscripts for each Eclipsys share, a 19 percent premium based on the closing price June 8.
