Law360, New York (August 24, 2010, 7:47 PM ET) -- A day after a federal judge issued a temporary ban on the federal funding of embryonic stem cell research, the Obama administration vowed Tuesday to appeal the decision that has upended the scientific community and thrown the fate of millions of dollars of research into doubt.
The U.S. Department of Justice said it would look to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to lift the preliminary injunction issued by U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, various media outlets reported.
