Sonova Recalls Cochlear Implants Made By US Unit

Law360, New York (November 24, 2010, 1:36 PM ET) -- Sonova Holding AG has issued a worldwide recall of one of its cochlear implant models after learning of two instances of the implanted hearing aids malfunctioning.

The Swiss hearing systems company said Tuesday it is recalling its HiRes 90K cochlear implant manufactured by Advanced Bionics Corp. while it works with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to fix the issue.
