HHS Missed Half Its Deadlines Under PPACA, Analysis Says

Law360, New York (June 07, 2012, 1:34 PM ET) -- Federal regulators have missed nearly half the deadlines for finalizing elements of health care reform, creating uncertainty but also potentially avoiding errors associated with rushed work, researchers with the right-leaning American Action Forum said Thursday.

In a written analysis, the organization chastised the Obama administration for tardiness in implementing 20 of 42 regulations that were assigned due dates under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
