Law360, New York (July 19, 2010, 2:27 PM ET) -- A posh residential community is fighting back against Amerisure Insurance Co.’s attempt to deny coverage to development firms for allegedly defective golf course drainage, saying that the companies specifically sought such coverage.
Belfair Property Owners Association Inc., a group representing residents of the South Carolina community that houses the golf course, filed an answer on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina to the insurer’s suit seeking declaration that it owes no coverage to the development companies.
