Law360, New York (February 10, 2011, 7:55 PM ET) -- AstenJohnson Inc. and American Insurance Co. on Thursday resolved a long-running case over insurance coverage for asbestos-related litigation against the paper industry supplier, which insurers had previously denied.
Judge Lawrence F. Stengel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed the case with prejudice, though details of the settlement were not revealed.
An attorney for AstenJohnson declined to comment and attorneys for the defendant did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Thursday.
