Law360, New York (November 09, 2011, 1:26 PM ET) -- Pentair Water Treatment Co. and Westchester Fire Insurance Co. on Monday settled a suit in Ohio federal court over the interest and taxable costs of a $30 million judgment the water treatment company paid after a fatal outbreak of Legionnaires' disease on a cruise ship.
Pentair had accused Westchester of breaching the terms of its $15 million commercial umbrella policy with Pentair by refusing to pay the interest and costs that Pentair had to shell out on top of the $30 million payment. The parties agreed...
