Law360, New York (May 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Clarion Corp. of America has reached a settlement with patent-holding firm Affinity Labs of Texas LLC, which has sued a group of stereo manufacturers for allegedly infringing its patent for connecting portable audio devices to car sound systems.
Citing the deal, the parties on Tuesday asked the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to dismiss with prejudice all the claims Affinity and Clarion, a Cypress, Calif.-based manufacturer of car entertainment systems, had brought against each other.
