Law360, New York (July 29, 2009, 7:11 PM ET) -- In a patent infringement suit against Facebook Inc. by Leader Technologies Inc., a judge has ordered Facebook to provide Leader with its entire source code, over the social networking site's objection that Leader's claim of needing the whole code was “specious.”
Magistrate Judge Leonard P. Stark of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware ruled Tuesday that Facebook must provide Leader with a hierarchical map of its source code by the end of this week, and the entire code by Aug. 21.
