Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 7:30 PM ET) -- Amazon.com Inc. and Apple Inc. have been dropped from Actus LLC's wide-ranging patent infringement suit over four patents related to electronic payment systems.
In orders issued Thursday, Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on the stipulations of dismissals for the claims against Amazon.com, Apple and FirstView LLC.
No details regarding the dismissals were included in the court documents. Attorneys for the parties did not immediately respond to inquiries late Thursday.
