Law360, New York (October 01, 2009, 5:33 PM ET) -- Traffic Information LLC has settled an intellectual property infringement dispute with Volvo Cars of North America LLC, removing the carmaker from wide-reaching litigation over the patent-holding company's traffic data transmission system.
Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas dismissed claims against Volvo Thursday, three months after Traffic filed a motion to dismiss and a settlement agreement with the court. Specifics of the pact were not immediately available in court documents.
