Law360, New York (November 06, 2009, 12:41 PM ET) -- A New York jury has handed a $600,000 verdict to publisher John Wiley & Sons Inc. in a lawsuit it filed accusing a man of unlawfully importing and reselling textbooks in violation of various intellectual property and competition laws.
The jury issued the verdict against defendant Supap Kirtsaeng Thursday, following a three-day trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
