Law360, New York (December 21, 2009, 6:19 PM ET) -- Lincoln Electric Co. Inc. and sister company Lincoln Global Inc. have asked the U.S. International Trade Commission to terminate its investigation of Kiswel Ltd. after the two sides reached a settlement agreement in the dispute over allegedly infringing bulk wire containers.
The companies filed a joint motion to shutter the investigation with the ITC Friday, saying they reached a deal that went into effect Dec. 11.
Details of specific terms and of what both sides received in the agreement were redacted from public filings.
