Law360, New York (January 05, 2010, 2:41 PM ET) -- CBS Corp. and its interactive divisions have become the latest defendants to settle a lawsuit brought by API Technologies LLC accusing two dozen companies of infringing its data network patent.
API and CBS — along with CNet Networks Inc., Last.FM Ltd. and three of the broadcasting giant's other online media units — lodged an agreed motion Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to dismiss all claims and counterclaims in the suit with prejudice.
